To be a consultative body providing recommendations through the SUF National Operational Code of Practice for Recreational and Sport Diving (NOCOP) for technical methods and procedures for conducting scuba diving and snorkeling activities and operations safely.

To recommend safe diving practices to its members with particular emphasis on the implementation of these practices to the local environment.as set by Confederation Mondiale Des Activities Subaquatiques (World Underwater Federation) hereinafter referred to as the “CMAS”.

The VP Technical shall be the advisor to the council on all technical methods and procedures for conducting safe recreational and sport diving operation, training and activities
